Copper ore

Rock containing copper minerals, typically green or bluish when weathered. Copper had been mined in Britain in the Bronze Age, but there is no known copper mining in 12th-century England: copper was imported, mainly from Germany, and English mining resumed only in Tudor times, in Cornwall and Cumberland. Copper ore would not have been worked commercially in the period.
Caveats (confidence: medium)
The game allows it to be dug, but we know of no evidence for copper-ore working in England c. 1100–1200.
