The Armourer
In their time
Armourers made and repaired armour, from mail shirts to the plate harness that spread from the fourteenth century. The finest armour was often imported from Italian and German workshops, but English armourers fitted, repaired and made armour, especially in London. They served lords, knights and soldiers, and were busiest when war threatened. The craft depended on good iron and steel, and on polishers and leather-workers for straps and linings.

What they need
A hammer, an anvil and a file, without which the work can't be done. Also useful: a knife. They work at a smithy.
How they learn
They learn smithing by doing it: the work is practice, and practice raises their rank.

They can't be hired yet: their work is not all in the game, or not in this age. They don't buy or sell; their script can't trade.
