The Fletcher
In their time
Fletchers made arrows, fitting straight shafts with goose feathers and the smith's iron heads. In wartime the crown bought arrows by the tens of thousands, and royal officers gathered shafts, feathers and heads from across the shires. Fletchers were distinct from bowyers, and in London the two crafts had separate companies. They depended on woodmen for shafts, arrowsmiths for heads and farmyards for feathers.

What they need
A hammer, a knife, an awl, a drawknife, an axe and needles, without which the work can't be done. They work at a craft workshop.
How they learn
They learn fletching by doing it: the work is practice, and practice raises their rank.
