In their time
Tailors cut and sewed garments to order, usually from cloth the customer bought separately from a draper. As fashions became more closely fitted from the fourteenth century, tailoring grew more skilled and prestigious, and in London the Merchant Taylors became a great company. Hosiers made leg-coverings and hatters and cappers made headwear. They served everyone from servants to lords, and depended on drapers, mercers and weavers.

What they need
A hammer, a knife, an awl, a drawknife, an axe and needles, without which the work can't be done. They work at a craft workshop.
How they learn
They learn tailoring by doing it: the work is practice, and practice raises their rank.
