In their time
Masons worked in stone, from rough walls to the carved detail of cathedrals. They often worked on large projects, moving from site to site, and master masons designed buildings and ran the works, sometimes becoming wealthy and famous. Masons worked in a lodge on site, and their organisation differed from town guilds. They depended on quarries, carters and patrons, often the Church or the crown.

What they need
A hammer and a chisel, without which the work can't be done. Also useful: a knife. They work at a mason's yard.
How they learn
They learn masonry by doing it: the work is practice, and practice raises their rank.
